Refund policy
At Sloane & Pearl, we want you to love every piece you receive. If something isn't quite right, this policy explains everything you need to know about returning an item, requesting a refund, or arranging an exchange.
Return Window
You may return eligible items within 30 days of the delivery date. Returns requested after this 30-day window will not be accepted, and the item will be returned to you at your expense.
Item Condition Requirements
To be accepted for a return, items must meet all of the following conditions:
- Unworn and unwashed — free from stains, odors, makeup, or any signs of use
- In their original packaging, including any dust bags, tissue, or boxes
- With all original tags still attached and intact
Sloane & Pearl reserves the right to refuse a return that does not meet these requirements. If a returned item is received in an unsatisfactory condition, it will be sent back to you and no refund or credit will be issued.
Final Sale — Discounted Items
Items purchased at a discount of 40% or more off the original retail price are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for a monetary refund under any circumstances. If you wish to return a Final Sale item that otherwise meets our condition requirements, you may receive store credit or a coupon of equivalent value in place of a monetary refund. This credit will be issued once your return has been received and verified at our warehouse.
Please review your cart carefully before completing a purchase, as Final Sale items are clearly marked at checkout.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances:
- Intimate apparel (including underwear, bralettes, and lingerie) — for hygiene reasons, these items are non-returnable regardless of condition
- Any item returned outside of the 30-day return window
- Any item that does not meet the condition requirements outlined above
Who Pays Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the following cases:
- The item you received is faulty or damaged
- You received an incorrect item that does not match your order
If your return qualifies for free return shipping due to a fault or error on our part, please contact us via our contact page before sending anything back, and we will provide you with a prepaid return label. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for all returns, as Sloane & Pearl cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
Refund Method & Timing
Once your return is received at our warehouse and has been inspected and approved, your refund will be processed as follows:
- Monetary refund: Where a monetary refund applies, the amount will be returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of us receiving the return. Please note that your bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the credit to your account.
- Store credit or coupon: Where a refund is issued as store credit or a coupon (for example, on Final Sale items), this will be sent to you once the return has been received and verified, along with confirmation of the credit value.
You will receive an email notification once your return has been processed.
Exchanges
We are happy to arrange an exchange for a different size or color, subject to availability. To request an exchange, please reach out via our contact page with your order number and the details of the item you would like instead. Because stock levels change quickly, we recommend placing a new order for the desired item and returning the original for a refund, rather than waiting for a standard exchange to be processed.
Store Credit & Coupons
Store credit and coupons issued by Sloane & Pearl have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may only be used toward future purchases at sloaneandpearl.com. They cannot be combined with other promotional offers unless otherwise stated. Store credit and coupons do not expire unless a specific expiry date is communicated at the time of issue.
How to Start a Return
Starting a return with Sloane & Pearl is straightforward. Follow these steps:
- Step 1: Visit our contact page and submit a return request. Please include your order number and the reason for your return.
- Step 2: Our team will review your request and respond with return instructions, including the warehouse address to ship your item back to.
- Step 3: Pack the item securely in its original packaging, ensuring all tags are attached, and ship it using a trackable service. Please retain your tracking number — it is required for your refund or store credit to be processed.
- Step 4: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you and process your refund, store credit, or coupon as applicable.
Please do not send items back without first receiving return instructions from our team, as unannounced returns may cause delays in processing.
